AirTV Mini

  1. Hold down the Home button
  2. Highlight the app you want to force close
  3. Hold down the OK button
  4. Scroll to Info and select OK
  5. Scroll down to Force Close and hit OK
  6. Relaunch the SLING app

AirTV Player

  1. Return to your device home screen, then scroll down to Settings
  2. Select Apps > System Apps, then find the Sling TV app
  3. Press Force Stop to fully close the application
  4. Relaunch the SLING app

Amazon Fire

  1. Return to your device Home screen. Then, scroll down to Settings
  2. Select Applications, then Manage Installed Applications
  3. Next, select SLING TV
  4. Select Force Stop to fully close the application
  5. Relaunch the SLING app

Android Mobile

  1. Press and hold the Recent Apps button on your device
  2. Find the app in the list of open applications, then swipe the Sling TV app to the right
  3. If this is successful, the app icon and mini-view will be removed
  4. Click Home or Back to return
  5. Relaunch the SLING app

Android TV

  1. Return to your device Home screen, then scroll down to Settings
  2. Select Apps, then the SLING TV app (if you’re using SLING TV on an AirTV Player, the app will be in the System Apps folder)
  3. Press Force Stop to fully close the application
  4. Relaunch the SLING TV app

Apple TV

  1. Press the Home button (looks like a TV) twice
  2. Swipe UP when you see the Sling TV app
  3. From the Apple TV home screen, relaunch the SLING TV app

Chrome Browser

  1. Hit the refresh button on your browser to restart the player
  2. If that doesn’t help, close your browser window, then open a new window and type watch.sling.com in to the address bar

iOS

  1. Click the Home button twice on your iOS device
  2. Find the app in the list of open applications, then swipe up on the SLING TV app
  3. Click the Home button to return
  4. Relaunch the SLING TV app

LG TV

  1. Press the Home button on your remote to return to the launcher
  2. Hover over the SLING TV app title at the top of the screen
  3. Click the X that appears next to the title
  4. Once the application is fully closed, select the Home button on your remote to relaunch SLING TV

Roku

  1. Click the Home button on your Roku remote to close the SLING TV application
  2. Relaunch the SLING TV app

Samsung

  1. Press and hold the Back button on your Samsung remote until you’re returned to the home screen
  2. Relaunch the SLING TV app

TiVO Stream 4K

  1. From Android TV Home, go to Apps
  2. Long press the app you want to force stop
  3. Select Info
  4. Select Force Stop
  5. Relaunch the SLING TV app

tvOS

  1. Double-click the Home button (looks like a TV)
  2. Swipe right or left so SLING TV is in focus
  3. Swipe up to force quit the SLING TV app
  4. Relaunch the SLING TV app

XBOX One

  1. Click the XBOX logo on your remote to return to the home screen
  2. Press Menu on your remote
  3. Next, scroll down and select Quit
  4. Relaunch the SLING TV app


Xfinity


  1. Select Exit, Guide or the Xfinity button on your remote to exit the app
  2. Find the SLING TV app in your apps and select it to relaunch
